Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke on trial with Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town have revealed that former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke is on trial with the club.

The 29-year-old was released by the Owls earlier this summer and has been searching for a new club since.

Ipswich said this afternoon that he was on trial and in the squad to face Peterborough United in a pre-season friendly this afternoon.

Coke scored one goal in 16 appearances in his final season at Wednesday, also making four appearances during a brief loan spell with Bolton Wanderers.
