Birmingham City secure Andrew Shinnie

Birmingham City have signed Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Andrew Shinnie on a pre-contract agreement.

The 23-year-old, who has agreed a three-year deal with the Championship club, will move to England when his contract expires at the end of the season.

The Scottish international had been linked with a number of English clubs following his exploits this season, but the Blues have stolen a march on their rivals.

Shinnie has scored 23 goals in 62 appearances for the club.
