Half-Time Report: Celtic pegged back by Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Miles Storey cancels out Callum McGregor's earlier opener to draw Inverness Caledonian Thistle level at 1-1 with Celtic.

Celtic saw a one-goal lead slip away to go into half time at 1-1 in their Scottish Premiership meeting with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Bhoys boss Ronny Deila had to contend with a pre-match outburst from forward Anthony Stokes, who was omitted from the squad altogether for the early kickoff.

The visitors were certainly quick out of the blocks, though, finding themselves a goal to the good inside just seven minutes thanks to a fine individual strike from range by Callum McGregor.

Gary Warren came close to making an instant response for Inverness when his header was somehow kept out by Craig Gordon, before Josh Meekings fired wide from the rebound.

Celtic fashioned another couple of half-chances of their own through Mikael Lustig and Leigh Griffiths, but neither could test Owain Fon Williams with their attempts.

Inverness then found a way through six minutes before the interval through Miles Storey, who found the net for the third game in succession after seeing his initial shot kept out by Gordon.
