Satriano 'flattered' to be linked with Arsenal, Chelsea

Inter Milan forward Martin Satriano has said that he is 'flattered' to be linked with a move to the Premier League amid suggestions that both Chelsea and Arsenal want to sign him.

The 20-year-old joined Inter from Nacional in January 2020 and has been in impressive form for Inter Milan Primavera this term, scoring six times in 10 appearances.

The attacker is yet to make his first-team debut for the Italian club, but Chelsea and Arsenal are both said to be tracking him ahead of potential offers.

Satriano has welcomed the reported interest from the Premier League but has insisted that he is "totally focused" on making the breakthrough into the Inter first team.

"It is always flattering (the interest from the Premier League), yes, it is a sign that I am doing things well and that I have to continue down that path," Satriano told the Daily Mail.

"I try to use it as an incentive to keep working and be better every day. The Premier League is the number one league in the world in terms of competition, that I think all the players want to play, I think all the teams are very good.

"It is a very competitive league where any team can beat anyone. But for now I am totally focused on Inter and to do the best with them."

Satriano has been on the bench on three occasions in Serie A this season.
