Gary Medel close to Inter Milan move?

Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel is reportedly closing on a move to Inter Milan.

The Chilean, who starred for his country at this summer's World Cup, is expected to leave Cardiff this summer following their relegation to the Championship.

A return to Spain had appeared most likely, but according to talkSPORT, Inter now lead the race and are confident of completing a deal by the end of this week.

It is understood that Inter will part with £8m for the 26-year-old, who moved to Europe with Sevilla in 2013.
