Maicon's agent has claimed that his client is considering leaving Inter Milan this summer.
The 30-year-old has spent the last six seasons plying his trade with Inter following a move from French club Monaco.
As a result, agent Roberto Calenda has hinted that the time may be right for the Brazilian international to take on a new challenge.
"After six years, it could be that the time has arrived for a change of scenery for Maicon," Calenda told Sky Sport Italia. "Maicon has had a beautiful love story with Inter that has lasted a long time.
"But like any love story at some point it may come to an end. There are several offers but we will evaluate them."
Chelsea and Real Madrid have previously been linked with the full-back.
