Preview: Inter Milan vs. Genoa

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini will be hopeful of seeing his team move into the top half of the Serie A table when they host Genoa on Sunday.

Mancini has struggled for victories since his return to the San Siro, but successive draws with Lazio and Juventus have improved the mood at the Italian giants.

Lukas Podolski, who has moved to Inter on loan from Arsenal, could be handed his first start for the Nerazzurri in place of the suspended Mateo Kovacic as Inter look to close the gap on their opponents to two points.

After impressing for much of the campaign, Genoa's form has dropped off in recent weeks with the Rossoblu picking up just one point from three games.

However, coach Gian Piero Gasperini will be encouraged after seeing his team recover from a two-goal deficit to earn a point against Atlanta in midweek.

Gasperini could make an alteration in defence, with Giannis Fetfatzidis in line to replace Facundo Roncaglia.
