Ricky Alvarez 'ruled out of action for a month'

Inter Milan midfielder Ricky Alvarez could face up to a month on the sidelines, according to a report.

The Argentine picked up an injury in training this week, which is more serious than initially thought, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Alvarez, 25, is to miss Inter's Sunday evening clash against Sassulo, paving the way for Fredy Guarin's return to the side after his proposed transfer to Juventus collapsed.

The former Velez Sarsfield player has made 58 appearances for the San Siro outfit, scoring 11 times.
