Inter Milan team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester City

Inter Milan injury, suspension list vs. Man City

Inter Milan will be aiming to win the European Cup for the fourth time in their history when they take on Manchester City in the final of the competition on Saturday night.

The Black and Blues, who last lifted the trophy in 2010, dispatched their bitter rivals AC Milan in the semi-finals of the competition.

Simone Inzaghi's side will also enter this match off the back of three straight wins, which allowed them to secure third spot in their domestic table ahead of AC Milan and win the Coppa Italia against Fiorentina.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Inter's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with Man City, who are looking to complete a treble this season.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: June 10 (vs. Man City)

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has recently been sidelined with a thigh problem, but the former Manchester United attacker is believed to be winning his battle to be available against the Citizens.

Joaquin Correa

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Calf Possible return date: June 10 (vs. Man City)

Inter are expected to be without the services of Joaquin Correa on Saturday, with the attacker still struggling to overcome the calf issue that he suffered in the Coppa Italia final.

Dalbert Henrique

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Dalbert Henrique has not played at all during the 2022-23 campaign due to a serious knee injury, with the 29-year-old instead working to be fit for the start of pre-season training.
