Report: Hull City make Gary Hooper bid

Premier League outfit Hull City have reportedly made a £4.5m bid for Celtic's in-demand striker Gary Hooper.

The 25-year-old, who scored 31 goals for the Scottish Premier League champions last season, has been linked with a number of English clubs this summer.

However, according to BBC Sport, newly-promoted Hull have made an official move for the Englishman, believed to be in the region of £4.5m.

It is understood that Celtic, who rejected a bid from Norwich City in January, value the forward closer to the £7m-mark.
