Hull City manager Steve Bruce says that he wants sign at least two new midfielders before the end of the transfer window.

The club have strengthened their squad this summer with the signings of George Boyd, Maynor Figueroa, Allan McGregor, Steve Harper and Yannick Sagbo, as they prepare for a return to the Premier League.

"We're looking at at least two midfield players now, possibly three." he told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I've said repeatedly that we'll deal sensibly and we'll be patient to make sure we get the right player.

"We've got a month before the window shuts. If it takes us to the last day, it takes us to the last day. But rest assured, we're working hard to get the right players in."

Hull start their season with a trip to Chelsea on August 18.
