Hull City boss Steve Bruce has hinted that Matty Fryatt could be handed a new contract by the club.
The striker, 28, suffered a serious Achilles injury last season before getting himself fit for the current campaign.
Bruce now admits that Fryatt's positive attitude could see him rewarded with fresh terms at the KC Stadium.
"I love his attitude. It has been terrific since the day I met him," he told the Hull Daily Mail.
"Everyone knows what a horrible injury he got. He then came back and did everything to get back fit. He is also doing everything to get himself a new contract.
"On that performance and the same with the last round, Matty has proved what a good player he is and, certainly, I will be sitting down with him."
Fryatt has scored three goals in 12 games for Hull this season.
