Birmingham City manager Gary Monk has urged his side not to dwell on the significance of this weekend's Championship relegation clash with Hull City.
The in-form Tigers have pulled nine points clear of the dropzone after a positive run of form, while the Blues can move out of the bottom three if they beat them on Saturday.
Monk, however, has told his players to focus on their performance on the day, rather than the potential implications of the result.
"It will all have implications whoever you play against," the Birmingham Mail quotes him as saying.
"It's a very dangerous game if you start focusing on what this might mean or what that might mean? We can only focus on ourselves and we have to get ourselves 100% right.
"The good things we've done to make sure they come out in the game and the corrections we've tried to work on regarding the not so good things.
"Really it's about ourselves because if we do our job and we do it right in these last nine games the rest will take care of itself."
Birmingham head into the game on a run of seven straight defeats.
