Jimmy Bullard suspended by Hull City

Hull City have suspended midfielder Jimmy Bullard for two weeks.

Bullard is thought to have broken club rules while in Slovenia on pre-season training last week.

A club statement read: "Hull City AFC can confirm that Jimmy Bullard has been suspended pending an inquiry into recent events. The club will be completing the investigation before making any further comment."

The 32-year-old signed for the Tigers in 2009, but has been linked to a permanent move to Ipswich Town following a successful loan spell there last season.
