Robert Snodgrass confident he will "come back stronger" from injury woe

Snodgrass positive about recovery

Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass believes that he has the right mindset to return from a damaging knee injury.

The 27-year-old, who signed for the Tigers from Norwich City in the summer, was ruled out for six to nine months after dislocating his kneecap during Hull's opening-day victory over Queens Park Rangers.

"Hundreds and thousands of players have had this injury in the past and they've come back stronger," Snodgrass told the Hull Daily Mail. "That's my aim.

"It's up to you how you want to come back. Some lads believe they won't come back stronger but I think it's as much to do with the person and how you approach it mentally and physically. That's the challenge for myself."

Snodgrass had surgery seven weeks ago.
