Hull City's Abel Hernandez faces month on sidelines with groin injury

Hernandez out for month with groin injury

Hull City have announced that Abel Hernandez is expected to be out of action for around one month with a groin injury.

The 26-year-old was forced off the pitch after suffering the injury nine minutes into the Tigers' 2-1 victory over Southampton on Sunday.

After undergoing a scan, the striker has been told that he is likely to be on the treatment table for four weeks, which has forced him out of international duty with Uruguay.

Meanwhile, Will Keane is not expected to learn the extent of his knee injury until next week due to swelling.
