Steve Bruce: Hull City "can't cope" with injuries

Hull City manager Steve Bruce admits that the club "can't cope" with the number of injuries that have hit their squad.

Steve Bruce has admitted that Hull City "can't cope" with their growing injury list after two more players picked up knocks in their defeat to West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez were both forced off in the first half of the 1-0 loss at The Hawthorns, and will need further tests to determine how long they will be sidelined.

The Tigers manager told the club's website: "For a club like us to have eight or nine missing is far too many, we simply can't cope.

"Our injury list seems endless and we're finding it a struggle. We're always trying to improve and we will try to get a couple in, it's essential that we do that.

"Too often, we're talking about injuries at the moment. We're getting too many. I think I've made more changes in the team over the last two months than I probably have done in five years."

Gaston Ramirez, Liam Rosenior, Mohamed Diame and Sone Aluko are among the players currently sidelined through injury at Hull.
