Hull City have confirmed that Robbie Brady will be out of action for "five to six weeks" with a calf injury.
The winger suffered the injury when he fell down a hole at the club's training ground last week.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce expressed his fear that Brady's season could be over as a result, but it appears that he could feature again for the Tigers this term.
"Robbie Brady faces a spell on the sidelines after an MRI scan revealed the Republic of Ireland international suffered a significant muscle injury to his right calf in training last week," a statement on Hull's official website read.
"The club's medical staff have estimated that the injury will take five to six weeks to heal."
Brady has made 24 appearances for Hull this season.
