Houston Dynamo 3-3 Toronto FC

Houston Dynamo come from behind twice to earn a 3-3 draw at home against Toronto FC.

Two goals from Will Bruin in the second half have earned Houston Dynamo a 3-3 draw at home against Toronto FC.

Houston started brightly and threatened to open the scoring on a number of occasions but Toronto's defence survived the early onslaught to keep the scores level.

The game's first goal came in the 13th minute though and it was Toronto who made the breakthrough as Jeremy Hall reacted quickly to a loose ball inside the area to fire past Tally Hall.

Houston were only behind for seven minutes and it was Bobby Boswell who levelled the scoring as the defender found space in the area to power his header into the bottom corner.

Toronto reacted quickly to Houston's goal and Koevermans restored the visitors' lead after good work from Eric Avila.

Houston failed to force an equaliser in the first half and the hosts found themselves further behind just moments before the break when Koevermans found space to meet Julian de Guzman's cross, extending Toronto's lead to 3-1.

Toronto continued to control the match in the second half with Houston forced to try their luck from distance.

However, Houston did give themselves a passage back into the match after 74 minutes when Bruin found space inside the area before firing a shot into the top corner to reduce the deficit.

The hosts' comeback was complete in the last minute of the game when Bruin powered a header home from close range following an inviting cross by Geoff Cameron.
