Hearts have made two changes to the team that lost 4-1 against Motherwell on Saturday, with Dale Carrick and Jordan McGhee replacing Paul McCallum and Brad McKay.
Carrick returns to partner Lewis Stevenson up top, while McGhee slots in at right-back.
Kilmarnock, meanwhile, welcome David Moberg Karlsson, Sean Clohessy and Michael Gardyne into the team following their 2-0 loss to St Mirren last time out.
Hearts are currently bottom of the table, while Kilmarnock are eighth.
