Hearts fail to pay players again

Scottish Premier League side Hearts have failed to pay their players on time for the fourth successive month.

The club was warned that it faced possible sanctions should the playing squad not receive their payment by the close of business yesterday.

The Scottish Premier League have now confirmed that they will hold a meeting later today to decide on a punishment.

Possible punishments include a fine, a deduction of points or even relegation.
