Half-Time Report: Fleetwood Town, Hartlepool United goalless at half time in League Cup

Fleetwood Town and Hartlepool United are currently goalless in their first-round Capital One Cup match at Highbury Stadium.

Declan McManus started strongly for the hosts as a lofted cross to the back post was very nearly met by the head of Amari'i Bell.

Bell then came close to getting on the end of a Antoni Sarcevic cross but just missed the ball while in a promising position.

Jake Carroll saw a swerving free kick soar over the bar before Rakish Bingham missed an easy chance for Hartlepool after being played in by Billy Paynter.

Both sides then had glimpses on goal but nothing substantial before the half-time whistle sounded.
