Marcelo impressed with Hannover quality

Marcelo believes that Hannover have the quality to be able to qualify for Europe this season.

New Hannover signing Marcelo has admitted that the setup and quality of his teammates has impressed him following his move from PSV Eindhoven.

Marcelo signed a four-year deal with the Bundesliga side and believes that the club has the ability to qualify for Europe this season.

"My first impression here was really really good," Marcelo told Bundesliga.de. "The players gave me a great welcome, and in the training I can see that the players have a lot of quality and I think it was a great session.

"Qualification for the Europa Leaque is definitely possible. We have a team that can achieve the qualification, particularly if we continue to play the way last weekend against Wolfsburg."

Marcelo joined PSV in 2008 before his move to Hannover earlier in the week.
