Hamilton Academical boss Alex Neil holds Norwich City talks

Hamilton Academical player-manager Alex Neil is holding talks with Norwich City over the managerial vacancy at Carrow Road.

The Canaries are currently looking for a new boss following Neil Adams's resignation on Monday.

Neil, 33, has been given permission to speak with Norwich and is now in discussions with the Championship side.

The Scottish midfielder joined Hamilton in 2005 before becoming their manager in 2013.

Neil has guided the Accies to third place in the Scottish Premiership table so far this season, four points behind leaders Aberdeen.
