Half-Time Report: Hajduk Split 0-2 Inter Milan

Goals from Yugato Nagatomo Wesley Sneijder has given Inter Milan the lead at half-time against Hajduk Split in the first leg of their Europa League third-round qualifying match.

The Italian side were put under pressure in the early stages of the match but their defence held firm before the attacking flair of the former European Champions started to become clear.

Sneijder put Inter ahead after 18 minutes to give the visitors a crucial away goal early on in the tie.

Hajduk were eager to reduce the deficit before the interval but were punished for their attacking instincts when Nagatomo scored in the 44th minute to deliver a hammer blow to the Croatian side.
