Greuther Furth lose to Freiburg after a second-half turnaround from the visitors.

Greuther Furth have become the only team to end a Bundesliga season without a home win as they went down to a second-half Freiburg fightback.

Relegated Furth flew out of the blocks and were ahead inside three minutes as Matthias Zimmermann headed home an Edgar Prib cross.

Max Kruse then set up Julian Schuster as the visitors pushed for an equaliser, but the midfielder could only direct his shot straight at Wolfgang Hesl.

Hesl was alert again on the half-hour mark as Daniel Caligiuri tested him with a low drive from the edge of the box.

In the second half the hosts started strongly again as Prib was found by Zimmermann, but he could not beat Max Grun in the visitors' goal.

However, Furth's home misery continued. First Jonathan Schmid finished neatly from a Jan Rosenthal pass and the turnaround was complete with 12 minutes left as Max Kruse scored from outside the box.
