Jeison Murillo signs new Granada deal

Colombian defender Jeison Murillo has signed a new long-term contract with Granada until 2019.

The 21-year-old, who broke into Granada's first-team squad in the summer, has been one of La Liga's most impressive defenders this season.

His form had reportedly attracted the interest of a number of European clubs, but the centre-back, who joined from Italian outfit Udinese in 2010, has now penned fresh terms.

Murillo has made 22 league appearances for the Spanish side this season.
