Sascha Riether has joined Fulham on a permanent deal from German club Cologne.
The 30-year-old defender has been on loan at Craven Cottage since July but has now signed a contract for an undisclosed fee.
"I am pleased after a first season in England and am focused on my other tasks in Fulham," Riether is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"I wish FC Cologne only the best and the imminent promotion to the Bundesliga."
Riether has made 38 appearances in all competitions for Fulham so far this season.
