Rodallega vows to start scoring

Fulham striker Hugo Rodallega has vowed to start hitting the back of the net at Craven Cottage.

The Colombian striker has scored just once since leaving Wigan Athletic for West London on a free transfer.

Rodallega has admitted that feels under pressure to deliver goals but thinks Fulham are a club that should be aiming for European football.

He told the club's official website: "Joining Fulham is the biggest challenge of my career. There were opportunities elsewhere but I really believe that we could challenge for a place in Europe again.

"At this level, scoring goals is a difficult thing to do. People expect strikers to score, it's simple, and they are right.

"If anything that pressure inspires me, because if they expect good things, then it means I am a valuable player. It's something I have learned to live with."

The 27-year-old faces stiff competition for a place in Martin Jol's side, with Dimitar Berbatov and Mladen Petric also arriving during the close season.
