Martin Jol expects instant impact from Mladen Petric

Fulham manager Martin Jol believes that Mladen Petric will prove to be a vital addition to the Cottagers side.

The Croatia international signed for the West London outfit last month after being released from Hamburg.

"Petric is a player who has the ability to make the difference," said Jol. "He's a good number nine, he was our top-scorer in Hamburg."

Petric netted 38 goals during his time with the German club.
