Yann M'Vila suffers ankle injury

France midfielder Yann M'Vila has picked up an ankle injury ahead of Euro 2012.

The Arsenal target was taken off after only four minutes of his country's 2-0 friendly win over Serbia on Thursday following a challenge from Dusan Tadic.

The Rennes captain was in tears as he left the pitch but appeared happier when he emerged from the tunnel in the second half.

The extent of the problem is not yet known.

Les Bleus begin their Euro 2012 campaign against England on Monday, June 11.
