Mainz held at Fortuna Dusseldorf

Mainz 05 have missed the chance to move into the European places in the Bundesliga table with a 1-1 draw at Fortuna Dusseldorf.

The hosts took the lead with six minutes on the clock as Bo Svensson headed into his own net.

However, the away side got themselves level before the break when Ivan Klasnic marked his full debut with a simple header.

The draw sees Mainz move up to eighth in the standings, while Dusseldorf climb up to 12th position.
