Rangers take all three points

Rangers take all three points

Rangers secured all three points with a 1-0 win over Forfar Athletic in this afternoon's encounter.

Rangers started the game brightly, with Lee Wallace causing plenty of problems down the left wing in the opening stages.

The ball dropped to Lee McCulloch from a corner on 22 minutes, but he could not generate any power on his shot to trouble the goalkeeper.

The away side then took the lead on 43 minutes through Andy Little, who dinked the ball over the goalkeeper after being played in on goal.

Early in the second half, Dale Hilson did well down the wing for the home side, but his shot flew over the bar.

Jon Daly had an excellent chance to double Rangers' lead on 55 minutes after Little found him in the area, but the defence closed him down well.

Nicky Law had another chance for the away side 10 minutes later, but his shot went over the bar.

Forfar came close to equalising on 74 minutes through Darren Dods, but David Templeton cleared off the line for Rangers.
