Report: Alberto Aquilani to be handed new Fiorentina deal

Fiorentina will reportedly hand midfielder Alberto Aquilani a new contract.

The 29-year-old, whose current deal comes to an end in June 2015, is in his second season with the Serie A club after joining from Liverpool in 2012.

However, according to reports in Italy, the Viola are preparing fresh terms for the midfielder, who has impressed since making a return to Serie A.

Aquilani has also had loan spells with Juventus and AC Milan in his career.
