FC Midtjylland midfielder Kristoffer Olsson: 'Manchester United a little slow'

Olsson puts boot into "slow" Man United

FC Midtjylland midfielder Kristoffer Olsson has claimed that Manchester United are a team 'lacking leaders' following the English club's shock defeat in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Olsson was part of the Midtjylland side that recorded a 2-1 win over the struggling Red Devils in the first leg of their last-32 clash in Denmark.

The 20-year-old, who is a former Arsenal youngster, has also said that Man United have "a lot of negativity" within their squad.

"They play a little slow. It's hard to have an opinion when it's the first time I play against them, I don't know how they usually are, but I felt that they didn't have any real leader," Olsson told reporters.

"There was a lot of negativity, but I don't know if it was more than usual. We knew that they were feeling low and took advantage of that."

The second leg of the Europa League clash will take place at Old Trafford next Thursday.
