Marseille up to third after Evian win

Marseille beat Evian TG 3-1 in Ligue 1 to climb to third in the table.

Marseille cruised to a 3-1 win over Evian TG at Parc des Sports in Ligue 1 this evening.

The visitors got off to a perfect start when Andre-Pierre Gignac scored inside the first minute.

Evian ended the half as badly as they started it when Giannelli Imbula doubled Marseille's advantage with a minute of normal time left to play.

Florian Thauvin then made it 3-0 just after the hour mark before Clarck N'Sikulu pulled back a consolation for the home side.

The win moves Marseille up to third in the Ligue 1 table.
