Galatasaray in talks to sign Henry Onyekuru on loan from Everton

Galatasaray have announced that talks are ongoing with Everton to take young forward Henry Onyekuru on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

The 21-year-old scored nine goals in 19 appearances with Anderlecht last season prior to picking up a long-term injury, which he has now recovered from.

For the second season running, Onyekuru will spend time away from Goodison Park as a temporary switch to Galatasaray has been lined up.

A tweet on Gala's official account revealed that "formal negotiations" are taking place over a loan move, despite clubs in England also reportedly being interested.

Onyekuru joined Everton in a deal worth just short of £7m last summer, but he has yet to make a competitive appearance.
