Sports Mole previews the friendly clash between Sweden and England on Wednesday.

Sweden welcome England in a friendly encounter on Wednesday with both sides enjoying impressive starts to their respective World Cup 2014 qualification campaigns.

The home side currently sit second behind Germany in Group C, while England currently top Group H with eight points from their opening four matches.

The pair last met in the Euro 2012 championships in the summer when Roy Hodgson's side recovered from 2-0 down to secure a 3-2 victory.

Sweden will enter the match full of confidence, however, after losing just one of their last five matches and they recovered from 4-0 down to take a point off Germany in their last competitive match.

Sweden are expected to name their strongest lineup for the clash, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic leading the line. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace midfielder Wilfried Zaha could win his first cap for England after being called up on Sunday.

However, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott are all doubtful for the clash.

Recent form:

Sweden: LWWWD
England: WWDWD

Possible lineups:

Sweden: Isaksson; Lustig, J Olsson, Granqvist, M Olsson; Elm, Larsson, Kallstrom, Kacaniklic; Ibrahimovic, Berg

England: Hart; Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines; Gerrard, Osman, Cleverley; Sturridge, Welbeck, Young

Sports Mole says: 1-1
