Jordan Henderson says that he and his England Under-21 teammates must not feel too "disheartened" by their defeat to Italy.

England Under-21s captain Jordan Henderson has urged his teammates to push on from their Euro 2013 opening defeat to Italy.

Stuart Pearce's men relinquished maximum points due to a 1-0 loss in Group A, despite taking the lead through a goal which was eventually disallowed.

"We can't get too disheartened about the performance and the result," BBC Sport quotes Henderson as saying. "We've just got to go from here, stay positive and hopefully we can get a good result against Norway."

The Young Lions take on Norway in Petah Tikva on Saturday.
