Draw with Chile keeps England alive at Under-20 World Cup

Draw keeps England alive

England have kept their hopes of reaching the last 16 of the Under-20 World Cup alive with a 1-1 draw against Chile.

The Chileans landed the first blow in the 32nd minute when Nicolas Castillo converted from the penalty spot following Dan Potts's foul on Angelo Henriquez.

However, the scores were level on 65 minutes as Harry Kane found the bottom corner from the edge of the area.

England had a glorious chance to take the lead in the 81st minute, but Tottenham Hotspur youngster Alex Pritchard could only head straight at the goalkeeper from close range.

Bryan Rabello almost snatched the win for Chile in the final stages, only for his effort to rattle the crossbar.
