Scott Parker in danger of missing Euro 2012

Scott Parker's Euro 2012 chances may be in doubt as the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder continues to deal with a recurring Achilles problem.

The 31-year-old, who appeared in England's 1-0 victory over Spain on Saturday, is a concern for Three Lions boss Fabio Capello.

"He's got some problems with his Achilles. Always," The Mirror quotes Capello as saying. "He needs time. I want to respect the clubs with these friendly games."

The former West Ham United star is expected to be rested for England's friendly against Sweden this evening.
