Norwich City are said to be close to signing England goalkeeper coach Dave Watson.
The 38-year-old was brought into the Three Lions setup on a temporary basis in May and is currently contracted to Birmingham City.
Watson, who worked closely with Manchester City's Joe Hart when the stopper spent the 2009-2010 season on loan at St Andrews, is held in the highest regard by the Championship club.
Despite Birmingham's desperation to keep him, Watson is keen to link up with manager Chris Hughton at Carrow Road, according to the Daily Star.
Watson made 178 league appearances for Barnsley between 1992 and 2001 before he was forced to end his playing career at the age of 28 due to a knee injury.
