Joe Hart: 'Spain ran out of ideas against England despite victory'

England keeper Joe Hart insists that his side needs to concentrate on the positives despite their recent 2-0 friendly loss away to Spain.

England goalkeeper Joe Hart has insisted that his side must take the positives out of their recent friendly defeat away against Spain.

Roy Hodgson's charges fell to a 2-0 loss on Spanish soil, but Hart has backed England's defensive showing by stating that their Spanish opponents were slowing running out of ideas in the contest.

"If we are going to take anything from the game, as a squad, we're going to stick together and take positives," said Hart, according to The Mirror.

"I thought that Spain ran out of ideas. The wonder goal they scored was one of the only ways they were going to get through."

The Three Lions are back in action on Tuesday night when they welcome Euro 2016 hosts France to Wembley in another friendly fixture.
