England return to top 10 in FIFA world rankings

England have been handed a boost before the start of the World Cup in Brazil next week by moving up one place to 10th in the FIFA rankings.

The Three Lions have returned to the top 10 following yesterday's 2-2 draw with Ecuador in a warm-up match in Miami.

The World Cup hosts have moved up from fourth to third, while reigning champions Spain remain at the top of the list, with Germany in second.

England will begin their campaign in Manaus with a Group D clash against Italy on June 14.
