Scotland captain Scott Brown admits that he is relishing the prospect of leading the team out at Wembley Stadium against England on Wednesday.

Scotland captain Scott Brown has revealed that he is thrilled at the prospect of leading the team out at Wembley Stadium against England.

The rival nations meet for the first time since 1999 on Wednesday as they battle it out in a friendly.

"It is going to be a great occasion taking the lads out at Wembley," Sky Sports News quotes Brown as saying.

"It is going to be huge. It is definitely right up there, even bigger than taking Celtic out for the last 16 of the Champions League.

"We are the underdogs, but we have got great players and match winners as well so we are all looking forward to it."

Scotland earned a 1-0 win on English soil when the teams last played each other 14 years ago.
