Team News: Andros Townsend starts for England against Slovenia

Roy Hodgson has made three changes to his England side for this evening's Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia in Ljubljana.

After scoring the Three Lions' last goal against Italy earlier this year, Tottenham Hotspur's Andros Townsend starts his first international game since November 2013 by replacing Adam Lallana.

Elsewhere, Kieran Gibbs gets the nod over Ryan Bertrand at left-back and Fabian Delph returns in place of James Milner.

Captain Wayne Rooney leads the visiting attack as he tries to become England's all-time top scorer. He is currently two goals behind Sir Bobby Charlton.

For the hosts, Samir Handanovic continues in goal despite the form of Jan Oblak for Atletico Madrid this season.
