Gary Cahill, John Terry give Roy Hodgson injury concerns

Cahill, Terry give Hodgson injury concerns

England manager Roy Hodgson has admitted that he is concerned by injuries suffered by Gary Cahill and John Terry during this afternoon's friendly against Belgium.

The Chelsea duo were both substituted as England ran out 1-0 victors at Wembley.

Cahill has suffered a jaw complaint, while fellow centre-back Terry is currently nursing a hamstring problem.

"Cahill is slightly more of a concern because it is a jaw injury," Hodgson told ITV Sport. "We are desperately hoping that the CT scan shows bruising.

"Terry's is a hamstring problem and he will also have a scan as a precaution."

England's other central defenders for the Euro 2012 are Phil Jones, Joleon Lescott and Phil Jagielka.
