Shevchenko misses Ukraine training

Ukraine striker Andriy Shevchenko has emerged as a major doubt for his country's Group D clash with England on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old is suffering from a knee injury, and according to Sky Sports News, he missed Ukraine's training session on Sunday.

A national team press officer told reporters: "He has pain in his knee."

The Dynamo Kiev striker has scored two goals for his country at this summer's tournament, and he was set to spearhead the Ukraine attack against the Three Lions.

Shevchenko has scored 48 goals in 110 games for Ukraine.
