Report: Doncaster Rovers prepare Leon Barnett move

Doncaster Rovers are reportedly preparing a move for Norwich City's out-of-favour defender Leon Barnett.

Canaries boss Chris Hughton recently revealed that the centre-back is not part of his plans next season, opening the door for clubs to make a bid.

According to Sky Sports News, Doncaster are keen to lure the defender to the Keepmoat Stadium as manager Paul Dickov prepares his squad for the Championship campaign.

However, it is also believed that a number of Premier League clubs are monitoring proceedings.
