Half-Time Report: James Coppinger gives Doncaster Rovers lead

James Coppinger scores to give Doncaster Rovers a 1-0 lead at half time in their Championship clash against Reading.

A goal from James Coppinger has given Doncaster Rovers a 1-0 lead at half time in their Championship clash against Reading.

The hosts opened the scoring midway through the first half when Billy Sharp drove into the box and crossed for Coppinger to finish from close range.

Sharp came close to a second for Doncaster minutes later, but saw his header saved by Alex McCarthy.

Both teams struggled to create any more chances as the half finished with the home side in control.
